How She Got Here
Dr. Irina did not start out in chiropractic. She started out as a social worker, and for years that's what her career looked like. The pivot came from her own body.
Surfing, dancing, a couple of car accidents — the kind of wear and tear that active people in the Bay Area collect without meaning to. She ended up in chiropractic care as a patient, trying to keep doing the things she loved. The care worked. It worked in a way that surprised her. And it kept working, visit after visit, until at some point the question stopped being "how do I feel better?" and started being "how do I do this for other people?"
I came to this profession through my own body. That changes how I work with yours.
Dr. Irina enrolled at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward and graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014. Her diverse training background shows up in how she holds space for the parts of recovery that aren't purely physical — and it shows up in how she adjusts, listens and cares for people deeply and effectively.
For patients who have had rough experiences with other chiropractors, Dr. Irina is often a gentle reintroduction to the profession. Her technique is careful. Her pace is unhurried. She will not adjust unless adjustment is what the situation calls for, and she will tell you what she is doing before she does it.
